  • List the main causes of corrosion in recovery boilers and ways to minimize them

Kraft Recovery Boilers is co-authored by eight experts, who have been instructors of the Kraft Recovery Course. It contains 16 chapters, covering various aspects of recovery boiler technology, from chemical principles to black liquor properties, sprays and combustion/char bed characteristics. It also covers a wide range of operating issues including fouling and plugging, sootblowing, corrosion and cracking, particulate and gas emissions, safety, equipment design and control principles, and material and energy balances. It is an excellent book for the course participants to have, not only to follow the lectures during the course, but also to use as a good reference source in their work after the course.

Earn 2.6 CEUs
TAPPI is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). TAPPI complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, TAPPI is authorized to issue the IACET CEU.

TAPPI will issue 2.6 CEUs to participants who attend at least 80 percent of the educational sessions and complete a final program evaluation.
