Jon Kerr is a paper industry professional with extensive product management, sales and marketing, and strategic planning experience in stock preparation and recycled fiber processing systems.

In his role as the Executive Director of the Paper Science and Engineering Foundation, he works with a broad spectrum of paper manufacturing and supplier companies to provide scholarships and work opportunities for Miami’s paper engineering students. The PS&E Foundation has advocated for over 1300 paper engineering students since the inception of the curriculum in 1957 and continues to be the catalyst for students seeking careers of leadership in the pulp, paper and affiliated industries.

Mr. Kerr earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Paper) from Western Michigan University and his MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is a former member of the TAPPI Board of Directors and volunteers much of his time with the Boy Scouts of America serving youth.
